These terms apply to the RATA – AI Text to Speech WordPress plugin (the Free version on WordPress.org) and RATA Premium (“RATA”), provided by Fox40 Agency (operated by Mr. Phan Bảo as an individual, tax code 8559094628, 101 Xo Viet Nghe Tinh, Ninh Kieu Ward, Can Tho City, Vietnam) (“we”). By installing and using RATA you agree to them.
- What RATA does. RATA adds a Listen button and a player to the posts on your WordPress website: it reads with the browser’s voice, or creates mp3 files with Vbee AI voices through your own Vbee account. RATA is independent software, not part of Vbee; “Vbee” and “Vbee AIVoice” are trademarks of Vbee AITalk.
- Free version. The Free version is released under the GPL licence on WordPress.org, with every feature it includes and no limit on time or number of posts.
- RATA Premium and licences. RATA Premium is a separate plugin sold in yearly Blogger, Business or Agency plans. You buy it inside your WordPress admin (AI Text to Speech › Upgrade); Freemius, our reseller, handles payment by international card or PayPal in USD, may add tax depending on where you live and shows it before you pay. Each licence covers the number of sites in the plan you bought; you move a licence between sites in your Freemius account.
- Renewal. Plans renew automatically every year. Turn off automatic renewal in your Freemius account (the link is in your purchase email); turn it off before the renewal date and you will not be charged for the next period.
- Trial. The Business plan has a 7-day trial, no card needed. We may stop a trial if we see abuse.
- Refunds. You can ask for a refund within 14 days of payment. Email support with your purchase email or order number; Freemius refunds the card or PayPal account you paid with. After a refund the related licence is revoked. Vbee points already used are not refunded, because Vbee charges them to your account.
- Your Vbee account. AI voices are created with your Vbee App ID and Token. You are responsible for that account, its points and for following Vbee’s terms. RATA only estimates points; see your real balance on vbee.vn. RATA does not sell points or voice minutes. Links to vbee.vn inside RATA carry a referral code; we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.
- Your content. You keep all rights to your posts and to the audio created from them. You must have the right to use the content you send to be read and must not use RATA for unlawful, misleading or harmful content, including imitating a real person’s voice without consent.
- AI-generated audio. Speech is produced by voice synthesis and may mispronounce words; listen to it and fix it with the pronunciation dictionary before publishing.
- Licence expiry. When a licence expires, paid features pause until you renew; created audio, settings and the dictionary are kept.
- Updates. We publish updates through WordPress.org (Free) and Freemius (RATA Premium, while the licence is valid). We may change features and will give notice if a change reduces what a purchased plan includes.
- Limitation of liability. To the extent the law allows, RATA is provided “as is”; back up your website before installing or updating the plugin. Our liability does not exceed the amount you paid us in the last 12 months.
- Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam. Read them together with Fox40’s Sales Policy and Terms of Service.
