How is Free different from the paid plans?
Free has the Listen button, the browser voice and Vbee AI voices read post by post by hand, with no limit on points or dictionary entries. Paid plans add automatic audio, your own voice, multilingual sites, podcast, mp3 download, statistics and the features in the comparison table.
Where do I buy a paid plan?
Right inside WordPress: install Free from WordPress.org, open AI Text to Speech › Upgrade and choose a plan. Freemius handles payment by card or PayPal (USD) and emails you the licence key.
Do I need a Vbee account?
No: the browser voice works right away. For natural AI voices, create a Vbee account, get the App ID and Token in the API section and paste them into RATA.
How are Vbee points counted?
Characters sent multiplied by the voice factor (Basic ×1, Advanced ×2–3, Premium ×3–4). Unchanged parts of a post are not sent again; see your exact balance on vbee.vn.
Can I try it first?
Yes. The Business plan has a 7-day trial. Every plan has a 14-day money-back guarantee.
How do renewals and moving sites work?
Plans are yearly and renew automatically. Turn off renewal or move a licence between sites in your Freemius account.
Do I lose data when upgrading or when a licence expires?
No. Created audio, settings and the dictionary are kept; when a licence expires, paid features pause until you renew.
The queue does not move?
WordPress cron only runs when the site has visits. On quiet sites, set a system cron to call wp-cron.php every minute.
