RATA’s AI voices are created by the Vbee AIVoice service with your own Vbee account. Vbee charges points for the characters sent; RATA does not sell points.
Get the App ID and Token #
- Create an account at vbee.vn or log in to your existing account.
- Open the API section, create an application and copy the App ID and Token.
Connect in RATA #
- AI Text to Speech › Settings › Connection & account, choose the Vbee AI mode.
- Paste the App ID and Token and click Save Changes. Connected means Vbee accepted the keys; “Wrong App ID / Token” means you should check both fields again.
- Keep the Fallback voice (browser) on: posts without Vbee audio can still be heard with the browser voice.
Choose voices #
- In the Voices tab, click Update from Vbee to load your account’s voice list.
- Click ▶ Sample to listen and Use to pick a voice. Choose at least one voice and set a default.
- Each voice has a points factor: Basic ×1, Advanced ×2–3, Premium ×3–4. Some voices need a matching Vbee plan; voices Vbee refuses are skipped and the reason is written to the log.
Paid plans add: your own voice (a cloned voice on Vbee), community voices, rotating voices and letting listeners change the voice (see the plan comparison).
Create audio for a post #
- Free version: open the post and click create audio in the RATA box. RATA sends the content to Vbee and downloads the mp3 into your uploads folder.
- Paid plans: turn on automatic audio on publish; bulk-create audio for older posts (Business and up).
When you edit a post later, only the changed parts are sent again; unchanged parts cost no more points.
